I went to the opening night of COFA's grad show on Wednsday, there was a lot of great stuff but it was a fairly chaotic night with masses of people all over the place. Not the best time to stand and take it in, but i took a few snaps (unfortunately my composition was absolute garbage). Anyway, if you like what you see i encourage you to head to COFA to see the rest, i think the exhibition is on for a couple of weeks.

Yann Tiersen

Thursday night Yann Tiersen put on a good show at the metro, it wasn't really what i expected but still pretty cool. With his Amelie and Goodbye Lenin soundtrack work i expected more accordion and piano stuff, but he only took out the accordion once! Most of it was french rock, epically styled with the use of a lot of echo. It was good but after a while most of the rock stuff was a bit samey, the violin stuff on the other hand was fantastic. Afterwards we had a long, long wait for the night ride bus and encounters with many horny drunk teenagers , one anal bus driver and one angry busy driver.

Sculpturiffic

It seems that, despite my best efforts, i've managed to pass my first few assessments. My dissertations on the nature of reality and the quick exam on an sociological view of everyday life turned out quite well i think, altho i will not be able to be sure until the results roll in.

This weekend i went to check out the sculptures at Bondi beach, there were so many and all of them were great, i've got some of the better pics i took here for you:
